The Winery

Nestled in the rolling hills of the beautiful Temecula Wine Valley, Danza del Sol Winery is a thirty-five acre estate winery located in Southern California’s Wine Country. While Danza del Sol’s tasting room officially opened in February 2010, the winery itself already has a remarkable history. The estate was previously owned by Dr. William Filsinger and his late wife Katharine who provided Temecula Wine Valley with exceptional wines for nearly 30 years. Twenty-five acres are planted with the following varietals: Gewurztraminer, Sauivignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Cab Franc, Tempranillo, Petite Verdot and Merlot. In the wake of Dr. Filsinger’s well deserved retirement, the estate was purchased by wine enthusiast Robert Olson.

While we are thrilled to introduce our new Danza del Sol wines, we will continue to support the Filsinger brand wines. Danza del Sol is dedicated to producing premium varietal and proprietary blended wines that are sure to exceed your expectations. It is our goal to deliver a unique range of wines at affordable prices. At Danza del Sol, you are sure to find wines that will meet your preference as we serve an incredible selection of both white and red as well as Methode Champenois champagne.

From San Diego: 55 minutes/72 miles Take the 5 North to the 52 East. Take the 52 East to 15 North. Exit Temecula Parkway (Highway 79 South) - Turn Right. Proceed 6 Miles to Anza Road turn Left. Proceed on Anza Road to De Portola Rd Turn Right. Proceed on De Portola Rd to Danza del Sol Winery located on Left hand side just past Leonesse Cellars.

From Los Angeles: 1 hr 45 min/99 miles Take the 105 East to the 605 South. Take the 605 South to the 91 East. Take the 91 East to the 15 South. Exit Rancho California Road - Turn Left. Proceed 6 Miles to Anza Road. Turn Left on De Portola Rd. Danza del Sol is located on Left hand side just past Leonesse Cellars.

From Orange County: 1 hr 15 min /80 miles Take either 91 East or 74 East to the 15 South. Exit Rancho California Road - Turn Left. Proceed 6 Miles to Anza Road. Turn Left on De Portola Rd. Danza del Sol is located on Left hand side just past Leonesse Cellars.

From Pechanga Resort & Casino: 13 minutes/10 miles North on Pechanga Pkwy. Turn right at CA-79 S. /Temecula Pkwy. Turn Left at Anza Rd. Turn Left on De Portola Rd. Danza del Sol is located on Left hand side just past Leonesse Cellars.

From South Coast Winery: 5 minutes/6 miles Take Rancho California Rd West. Turn Right at Anza Rd. Turn Left on De Portola Rd. Danza del Sol is located on Left hand side just past Leonesse Cellars.
